A must visit for Middle Eastern speciality food items. An old time favorite. My family has been shopping at Tehran Marker for over 25 years and they have always been polite, helpful and kind. They offer fresh produce and a large array of middle eastern food items (concentrating on Iranian items). Their newly remodeled store is a great improvement on the old. Tehran Market offers limited parking in the back which is very convenient.

I had a disappointing experience at this supermarket. The Persian food packages they sell is low quality. Specificity the Tahchin we bought was nothing like the real dish. They didn't use the real Safron which is the main ingredient and it tasted sour! The freshness of the produce left much to be desired. Unfortunately, my shopping here didn't meet my expectations, and I won't be returning.

Tehran Market in Santa Monica is a delightful treasure trove of Persian food items that leaves me eager to return for more. Their weekend kebabs are nothing short of amazing, showcasing the authentic flavors of Persian cuisine. The quality of their dishes truly stands out. Each bite is a burst of delightful flavors that transport me to the heart of Iran. The only area I feel they could improve is their organization in preparing orders. Sometimes, the wait can be a bit long, but I must say that the flavorsome experience makes up for it.

Fantastic market! Fantastic food! This Persian market is the gem of Santa Monica. Everything is clean, organized and well kept. They have Kabab every Saturday and Sunday for takeout and it is absolutely the best in Los Angeles.

Good kabob on weekends. The give good Torabi and vegetables as a side. They are cooking kabob outside of the store and the atmosphere is very nice. They are limited seating available.

While the market offers a diverse range of Persian groceries, from cheese to dry fruits and fresh breads, there's one aspect that left me somewhat disappointed. The limited BBQ timings until 4pm for their restaurant meant missing out on the possibility of enjoying a dinner there. It would be great if they could extend their restaurant's hours to accommodate those looking for a Persian BBQ experience later in the evening. Despite this, their selection of groceries is commendable and worth a visit for those seeking authentic Persian ingredients.

Tehran Market is perhaps the beat Persian / Middle-eastern supermarket in the whole LA area! Very friendly and professional staff! You can find almost any Persian item in this store! And the best Persian food from kabobs, to stews! Highly recommend it!

Visited here today for kebab and was not pleased with quality the beef kebab I ordered all was red inside and not cooked well. The man with grey hair who was cooking them did a horrible job. Paid $80 and was not worth it please cook the kebab correctly this is ridiculous service for that price you charge. Don’t go here if you want cooked kebab.
